I am Research Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I joined the UIC Physics Department in 2008. Before that, I worked at the Brookhaven National Laboratory (Long Island, NY), Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Batavia, IL) and Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (Moscow, Russia). I graduated from Instittute for Theoretical nad Experimental Physics, where I majored in particle physics detectors and applied computing for high-energy physics.
I
am interested in new detector technologies and currently involved in
various hardware-related
and detector building projects with High Energy Nuclear Physics
Group and High Energy Particle Physics Group at UIC Physics
Department and also serving as IT/Electronic Shop supervisor.
